Jake went ahead and got the scooter today. Stan next door helped us get it out of her truck. He had these spiffy ramps for getting stuff out of the back of trucks. Unfortunately, we're still wracked by Isidore, so we can't ride it anywhere yet.

Sara's grandmother died yesterday, so she's off to Philly tomorrow. A warning to people buying plane tickets these days (SEE CORRECTION IN COMMENTS SECTION: there's about twice as much tacked on in fees than there used to be. She thought she was getting a better deal on Price Line, but it ended up being only two bucks less than the much easier, much more direct route purchased from the airline.

I called Nikki after I did my last entry and found out she's working every night until she goes to Florida, so no date until she gets back.
