So, this morning I find out that a 6th grader has joined the Ethical Sluts diary ring. That's a 12-year-old. Can I just say, "ACK!"? What the hell am I supposed to do with THAT? I thought maybe I'd write and give her a chance to give me one good reason to let her stay in the ring. But I'm still not sure.

I mean, I think it's great that some kids these days are really comfortable with their sexuality at an early age, well informed, open minded and all that. But sheesh! 12! The 15 and 16 year olds I can deal with. Fhala especially seems to be really well-grounded with an excellent attitude that will probably take her far. Though I can't fathom how she has any free time to date at all. That's one busy chick.

The 6th grader's diary says she's still a virgin, so she can't exactly qualify for sluthood. I find it hard to believe she's into kink. So maybe she's an advocate of polyamory? [*Badsnake shakes head in bewilderment*]

Let's hear from some of you liberal moms out there. Do I just write a note and say, "You're too young," or give her a chance to explain WHY she wanted to join this ring?
