We discovered last night that one of the reasons Angel had been licking herself so incessantly was that her back right foot pad was split open. Not in a meat-hanging-out way or anything. She doesn't even limp. That's why it took me so long to figure out that she is injured.

So now she's wearing the collar for about a week. The funniest thing is how she doesn't get the "back up if you're stuck" concept yet. She'll hit the collar against one side of a door jam, and she'll just stay there. Or she'll put her nose down to smell the ground, and the collar will jam. She keeps trying to go forward, and it just doesn't work.

At the vet's office, she hung her neck down and rested the entire opening of the collar completely on the floor and looked like she had her own private head aquarium. Even the vet assistants were laughing at her.

For Trinity: I can't update from work anymore because they've installed software that tracks all the Internet browsing that employees do. And I don't want them reading my diary.

The monkey robot that poops bombs into its hand and then throws them is genious.
