Digital cameras under $300? These are not my area of expertise, but in my opinion, you'll do fine with any of the big names: Olympus, Nikon, Canon, Minolta, etc. And CompactFlash cards are getting relatively cheap compared to what they used to cost. According to the web search I just did, you can get a 256MB card for between $50-80 now. Geez. If you have a laptop that you're taking on vacation, you can use a smaller card and just download a lot.

I like the new small digital cameras for a vacation camera mainly because the quality is good enough (you probably don't want prints bigger than 4x6), and they're small enough not to be in your way.

I'm headed to Vegas this weekend and will be there until Wed. morning. I have to wear bright orange golf shirts while I'm there. Ack.

I had a wonderful birthday weekend and I've still got a little bit to come. Deb's taking me out to the club on Saturday night where there will be a whip and flogger vendor, and I get to pick one out. Whee! I also got fabulous leather cop gloves from Sara. Can't wait to really break those in. Oooh. And I got a knife from Deb and had bought one for myself last Friday (oops).

Oh, and I took a few stunning new fetish self-portraits. Now that I lost 20 pounds, I'm indulging myself a bit.

That's going to have to stop, though, 'cause Deb and I just had our meeting with our financial advisor on how much money we're going to have to put aside to meet our goals. Again, "ack."
