I'm still doing great with the Fitness Challenge. I've gotten lots of exercise and stayed on the Weight Watcher's plan all week. I probably went a bit over points last night eating at Waffle House and then treating myself to a box of Raisinettes at the movie, but I had plenty of points banked from the week. If the lawn dries out enough today, I'll be doing more mowing. It was extremely difficult to stay off the scales at work by the end of the week. I wanted to see how I was doing, but I promised myself not to do the constant weighing thing. That just fucks with my head. I felt thinner this week.

I described the anchor bracelet that I made for myself to my sister, and she said it sounded way cooler than the fakey pearl one that Weight Watchers sells for $9. I think it sounds better, too. If anyone wants me to make one for them, I'll do it for $5 + postage. If you want to do it yourself, wrap some 18 gauge copper wire around your wrist with about 2 inches of overlength. Put some beads on it, representing whatever you want. Make sure the holes in the beads are big enough. Use needlenose or hobby pliers to put a small loop in one end of the wire. Thread the other end of the wire through the loop, fold it back and wrap it around itself a little. Done. When you want to add more beads you can just unwind the wire and do it again.
