I need to post the rest of the Cumberland trip photos, and I've got the black-and-white film shots at Wolf this afternoon being scanned to disc so that I can do some fine-tuning in computer before I have prints made. There are awesome shots of Deb and dolphins and the beautiful architectural appointments of the Plum Orchard mansion.

On Sunday morning I got a call from the guy who took me to my senior prom. We're exchanging e-mails now, and I think we're both equally fascinated by how our lives turned out.

On Sunday evening Sara clocked herself good on a door frame and a majorly bloody but (confirmed 3 hours later) not broken nose ensued. I spent most of Sunday evening with her in the ER just waiting for the next doctor or nurse to look at her for 30 seconds. Jake was out of town when the accident happened, which is how I ended up taking Sara.

Deb and I have been spending lots of wonderful quality time together, and I've been enjoying the hell out of that. And I had a date with Sara postponed from last night to tonight but got to hang out with her and watch "Upstairs, Downstairs" with her on DVD and do a tuck-in, so there's that to write about.

I have a lot of writing to catch up on and a lot of work to get done. Grrrr. I have a magazine conference to attend Friday, Saturday and Sunday if I want (when one of the best presenters is speaking).

I also found out that the Honda Battle of the Bands is scheduled for this Saturday. I'd love to go, but I don't have anyone to go with. Well, I can totally go by myself if I want. I think it would be a blast to photograph with a field pass, but I doubt I could arrange it this fast.
