Girls got back from Jersey last night and instigated a family meeting that lasted past 1 a.m. Lots of grievances aired and resolved. Much good will and less heavy hearts now.

Fire bad. Tree pretty. Actually, fire is pretty, too. Deb and I enjoyed two fires in the fireplace this weekend. I love it when the weather gets cold enough for that. I'll be making my first pot o' chili this weekend, and that seals the beginning of winter.
