Well, turns out that Mom is pulling a grand royale fake-out. We dished on Tammy when we were home on Friday night, and Mom thinks she's hugely controlling, not very bright, controlling, a know-it-all, controlling, and that her whole life is about cleaning house. Har!

I told Mom about the time that Tammy had picked up one of Sara's handmade cards to admire it and, completely sincere, stated, "Doesn't this just make you happy?!" And about how that had become a running joke for us. Now, when we're making fun of Tammy, one of us will pick up a spoon or some lint or something, and exclaim, "Doesn't this just make you happy?!"

Something else Mom told me, that I forgot to tell the girls, was that Tammy got ticked off with the way my straight sister's friend Joan treated her, and threatened not to come back to our vacation spot the next year unless she straightened up. If it was just her not coming back, nobody would care, but of course she wouldn't let E come either. Apparently, she made E write a letter to Joan, delivering this message. Holy shit.

Joan probably ignored Tammy completely during vacation, and we can't have that.

The bitch must be eliminated. It was very reassuring to know that my mother hadn't been duped by all the syruppy act, though. She's nobody's fool. Before I left, I told Mom that I would ask Deb to try to get the Saturday before Christmas off so that she could come up with me. Mom said, "That would be wonderful, but don't tell E; she might bring Tammy."
