We got Ricky to give us a ride to the airport on Thursday night and started the adventure with American West. Bleah. Not the airline endorsed by Rancho Lesbiano. There wasn't a meal served on the 7:30 flight, so Deb had made ham sandwiches for us all and we passed those and a big bag of chips, and bag of carrots around across the aisle like a bunch of hillbillies. Several hours and very cramped shoulders later, we landed at John Wayne Airport ...

... and eventually found our hotel in Orange County in the state of California, land of no smoking anywhere.

I've had a pretty busy day, what with the ceiling caving in and all.

And the time changes are catching up to me. I'm going to have to do the Amante thing and spread the account of this vacation out over a couple of days.

Tomorrow: we discover San Diego and have dinner with Miguelito.
