But it's good to be home. The only thing my grandmother said directly to me is "What did you do with your hair?!" Other than that she was moaning, screaming, cussing, bitching out my mother, and whining. Whee. I don't know how my mom has been able to stand it for so long.

The friend of the family died on Saturday, but there won't be a memorial service until her grandchildren get out of school. There's no hurry because she donated her body to Vanderbilt, and whatever's left after they're done with it will be cremated. She was a cool lady, Marge Harper, brilliant in her prime, world traveled, and she spoke five languages. Rest in peace Mrs. Harper.

That's it from me for tonight. I need to drink enough to take the edge off the caffeine I did driving home. I thought up some interesting plans for Thursday night. I'll have to confer with Jake on them later.

More on the trip home tomorrow. My bed's empty and I miss my sweetie. I have a wonderful picture of her on my computer desktop now, though. She's sitting at the breakfast table on Saturday morning. Mmmm. My sweetie. I'll be looking at this as I sip my coffee every morning while she's gone.
