I really liked The Earl (venue, aka bar). It was the first time I'd been there, and it was such a small crowd, maybe 150 people. I got there insanely nerdy early, though. When I go somewhere I've never been before, I always plan in a little extra time to get lost if necessary. Turns out the trip from our house to the East Atlanta neighborhood is about 10 minutes, not 35. I sort of knew that already, but I had no idea if it would be hard to park or, or, or ... It just makes me feel less stressed to plan extra time.

I know that "Let It Ring" is a serious anthem against religious prejudice, but towards the end of the song the lyrics are:
I'm gonna let it ring to Jesus
Cause I know he loves me too
And I get down on my knees and I pray the same as you
I want her to sing "kneeses" sooooo bad when I hear that. It rhymes with Jesus, AND it's funny. I officially apologize for ruining this song by making you think kneeses every time you hear it from now on.

Hey, speaking of queers, happy National Coming Out Day. I don't think there's anyone left for me to come out to about being a lesbian. There are folks who don't know I'm polyamorous, but that's mostly because it's not their business.

Or polyfilic or multiamorous as the case may be. (See the t-shirt. I want one of these, but I have no idea where I would wear it.)
