Letter from far away from home

I got an e-mail from my Air Force guy today. Very cool. He's 23, married, and has a 1-year-old daughter. There go my fantasies of playing USO girl when he gets home. Heh. Yes, I'm just kidding. As I suspected, he's in a relatively safe, stationary location. He's not the best speller in the world, but that's okay. His mistakes seem to happen on the homophones, like allowed vs. aloud, and I wonder if that a stress symptom. He says his work hours are pretty long. He hasn't gotten the package I sent yet, so he still has a surprise on the way.

He also said he thinks my car is cool and that he's really interested in photography and could use some advice when he gets back home because he's looking to get a good SLR. I sent him a couple copies of my magazine today so that he can see what I do.

He also says, "Thank you for the mail. It is nice to know that people care back home." That makes it all worth while.

Therapy went pretty well yesterday. The clients before and after me were both transitioning, and I bet they thought I was, too. So, I'm going back. It's going to stretch the finances a bit as far as our monthly budget goes, though. I think it will be worth it, though.
