We had the BEST time last night. I came home to what was supposed to be family dinner night, except it had become impromptu neighborhood wine tasting night, and there were a lot of flight attendants involved.

In my neighborhood, there are flight attendants, and you can ride them like ponies. As long as their husbands don't catch you.

I also had to make a WWJD decision yesterday evening. That's What Would Jake Do. There were a couple really adorable Goth kids begging for change at the train station. I did the auto-NO head shake before I even thought about it. Then I started thinking about it. I came so close to turning back and giving them cash. But then I remembered that I am the softest touch in the world. Queen of easy marks. La chumpina. I thought WWJD? She would not give anybody money at a train station that's what. Her opinion was that if they needed cash, they could offer a stud or some of their piercing jewelry. Though I don't know if I'd really want anything pulled out of a stranger's eyebrow, nostril or tongue.

I still felt bad. Those Goth kids are a subset of my people�my people being freaks and outcasts I guess. What if they really, really needed my dollar-seventy-five to get to the club last night? What if they only had enough for one cover charge? Maybe I should've given them money.
